Music and Montessori is run by Camilia, a former educator, music and piano teacher, and learning experience designer with over a decade working with learners of all ages. Camilia spent over a decade as a public school teacher, but now works full time as a learning experience designer.

Having worked in public Montessori schools for the majority of her time in education, Camilia has had the opportunity to learn from and observe the teachings of many excellent Montessori teachers. She is NOT Montessori certified, but has a Master’s in Education from the University of Colorado Boulder where her focus was on designing curriculum and instructional resources that could be utilized in the Montessori classrooms as well as by music specialists.

Now, Camilia continues to study Montessori teachings and attend sessions to learn more about Montessori as a parent. She also enjoys making music with her two daughters and volunteers for local music programs.
